Apart from the residential indoor program and day care center which are operational at all times, there are also several activities which take place within the umbrella of our organization. These are broadly related to Theatre or simple interaction with Children
This section is dedicated to those events which are happening on a day to day basis and will be updated in the same fashion.

PLAY - DULARI BAI

Jamghat – A Group Street Children have decided to commemorate our long journey by staging a famous comedy play “DULARI BAI”as a FUNDRAISING EVENT.
The duration of play shall be between 80-95 minutes and will be performed in Hindi.
The script of the play is written by famous Indian Sahitya Akademi award winning writer Mr. Mani Madhukar.
This musical comedy play is based on old values of Society. Play revolves around a miser lady Dularibai.
Contemptuously labeled as the most greed incarnate woman, Dulari Bai, lives up to her reputation. So much so that she does not discard her worn out shoes made some hundred years back for her ancestor. Dulari Bai is a strong portrayal of the ultimate fate of humanity hankering after its material possessions.

The content would determine its own form, yet it will be a positive and a celebratory play which evokes healthy laughter along with a myriad of music, visual effects and probable use of electronic audiovisual means.
The entire process will be based on a holistic approach to theatre – exploring, experiencing and expressing. Within each of these three phases, learning and sharing will occur at multiple levels namely at the physical, intellectual and emotional platforms.
